Tennessee Spokes Sports Car Club

Formed in 1951, The Spokes Sports Car Club is one of the oldest sports car clubs in the United States. Founded on the front porch of Jessie James Smith outside of Austin, Texas, the Spokes organization has grown and spawned several chapters in and around the mid-west and southwest.

Spokes is a "Driver's club!"

If you want to have fun in your car, Spokes is the club for you. We are interested in all forms of motorsports activities: Autocross, Rally, Road Race, Hill Climb, Shows and Exhibits, as well as Tours to interesting automotive locations and what ever else we can do legally in or around cars. We share information and have contacts with hundreds of people who are also automotive enthusiasts.

We have a full calendar of FUN events scheduled for the year and are always open to new and exciting events to participate in. Our members are encouraged to participate and bring their ideas for the enjoyment of the automobile through mutually shared enthusiasm.

Our members have a very diverse taste for cars. We do not care which brand is your favorite or how you use your car. We just like cars and activities that allow us to share in the FUN and EXCITEMENT of the automobile. If you like cars, we like you!
